  Every visit to Dr. Ward is an enjoyable experience. The staff is very friendly from the moment you walk in the door and the office lobby is always immaculate. Each exam room is spotless, warm, and very child friendly. Dr. Ward is very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient when it comes to dealing with my daughter. He is also very thorough when it comes to explaining things to my wife and me. He always brings a smile to my daughters face even when she's not feeling the best. I would recommend Dr. Ward to any of my friends and family and anyone else looking for a doctor who will care for your child as he does his own.

  Being new to the area we had no idea who to trust our daughter with. After a long weekend our second daughter decided to develop a high fever. We stumbled across kahala Pediatrics and decided to give it a try. Can we say best decision ever?!? Not only is his staff friendly and kind but we were able to see Dr. ward very quickly on the same day we made an appointment. His offices are so nice and clean but most of all welcoming. Our daughter does not trust anyone but she felt very comfortable with Dr ward and his staff. Dr. Ward was able to diagnose the problem with our daughter and prescribe the correct treatment. We are very thankful for Dr. Ward and his staff and fell very secure knowing if we have any issues we have someone we can count on. Mahalo Kahala Pediatrics we will undoubtedly be back again!

  Since New Year's Day fell on a weekend, the first Monday of the new year was an observed holiday. Of course, our daughter (14 months) decided it was a good time to develop a high fever, slightly runny nose and cough. Since most pediatricians are closed on state/federal holidays, we thought are only option was an urgent care. Of course, the line to get into urgent care was out-the-door! Luckily we looked around discovered that Dr. Ward at Kahala Pediatrics was OPEN and we could see him RIGHT NOW! Thanking our lucky stars we drove all the way from Pearl City to Kahala to see Dr. Ward. Their office is located in a building right next to Diamond Head Market and Grill. There's covered parking under the building. Once we dragged our grumpy 4-year-old and sick 14-month-old into the office, we were greeted by a very friendly staff who tried to help us soothe our fussy kids. Dr. Ward saw us immediately. He's just what you want to see in a pediatrician- kindness, patience and especially for me he's THOROUGH! Turns out that roseola was the most likely culprit. Dr. Ward's explanation of the course of the disease, what to expect and how to handle treating symptoms was clear and easily understandable. We are very grateful for Dr. Ward and the same-day service. Will be back again!
