  Queen's ER is dark & foreboding. The staff are automatons, limited to spartan response. You get but enough to question perception.10 hrs I spent, many alone in a disused room. no light; no communications. Then, deliverance. In Oncology, the nurses are butterflies - quiet, gentle, buoyant joy. Perfection lives: it's found in relief. That's what I got. The doctors are an elusive & curious link between the two worlds.

  Father went to Queens complaining of stomach pains in early June. Took blood and other tests along with MRI. After no notification, he contacted his family physician who reported that they had sent all the paper work to the gastroenterology department, and to wait for them to call to schedule an appointment. Father waited a week for a call from GI Dept. When they did not call he called again and inquired, they said they will call him back. He waited another week and again no return call. Father waited over a month, not wanting to complain. I then called while taking him to another hospital, suddenly miraculously they have two openings the next day. They blame raising cost due to law suits and high prices. Wonder why?

  I go to the clinic. And you basically see a student doctor. That goes and gets another doctor to confirm if it is the right choice and decision. I did get medication I needed but they offered to do dermatologist for me but instead retracted saying that I wouldn't need one cause they would give me same medication ways. And they said if my skin got worst to come back for stronger medications. Hmm I just think that a dermatologist would have more answer on skin probs like ezcema. I was already in bad mood which could alter this review but when you tell a patient that symptoms will always come back why couldn't you write the recommendation and help me out for the long run instead of getting me to come back again. I dont really like this clinic but it's close...and I dont like being weighed. In the lobby with other patients. Also sometimes other patients just have b.o... And whenever I uber the front of the hospital is always packed and annoying to get picked up.
